We know you’re too busy working on your business (or your latest tech masterpiece) to cook a Thanksgiving feast. In fact, you may have been so busy lately that Thanksgiving has slipped your mind.
Don’t worry—we have you covered. These five Valley restaurants have planned exquisite Thanksgiving dinners with their own twists, so you can work hard in the morning and then feast with friends and family over a once-in-a-lifetime meal.
MATCH Cuisine & Cocktails
Downtown Phoenix’s latest gourmet restaurant accompanies FOUND:RE, an arts-oriented hotel off of Central and Portland. MATCH Cuisine and Cocktails serves a variety of unique dishes day to day, but for Thanksgiving they’re getting extra creative. Starting at $48 per person, you can enjoy candied yam gnocchi, oven-roasted pork loin with apple brandy butter, and truffled mac and cheese—plus a number of tasty classics with a MATCH touch. And don’t forget about dessert: this year, MATCH is serving roasted pumpkin mille fuille, apple empanadas, and pecan crostada.
Wright’s at the Biltmore
Love fall? Then you’ll love this year’s Thanksgiving menu by Wright’s at the Biltmore. Wright’s has put a festive spin on everyone’s favorite traditional meals: anaszai bean soup, smoked duck breast, sage-brined turkey, and brandy pumpkin cheesecake are just a few of your options. Full meals start at $95 per adult and $45 per child. Whether your family is made of foodies or likes to stick to the basics, everyone will find something to love at Wright’s.
El Chorro is a gorgeous location for any celebration, Thanksgiving included. This year the Paradise Valley restaurant is offering a holiday menu built to impress, starting with handcrafted bread and ending with El Chorro’s famous sticky buns. The feast includes an autumn salad or butternut squash bisque, a turkey, herb-roasted beef tenderloin, or salmon entrée, and warm apple cobbler or pumpkin pie for dessert. Full-service and buffet-style settings are available, and no matter where you sit, you’ll get a beautiful view of the desert. Meals start at $68 per person.
Looking for something a little more casual? Rustler’s Rooste, a Western-themed steakhouse near South Mountain, may be the perfect place. This Thanksgiving, the whole family can enjoy turkey, baked ham, prime rib, salmon, or sautéed shrimp with some scrumptious sides. Rustler’s Rooste even offers budget-friendly kid’s meals for the young ones. Full meals start at $20 per adult.
Green: New American Vegetarian
Thanksgiving can be tough if you’re a vegetarian. Luckily Green in Tempe has come to the rescue with “Thanksliving,” a day of fun and compassionate bread-breaking. Music, vegan vendors, craft tables and more will come together to create an exciting occasion for the whole family. Green’s Thanksliving menu includes roasted garlic smashed potatoes, fried Brussels sprouts, a picnic salad, Seitan turkey breast, and assorted artisan breads. Meals start at $25 for adults and $9 for kids. As Green likes to say, “Peace begins on your plate!”
